Thirty Day Challenge 2009

June 9th, 2009

Hey gang! Ash here…

That’s Ed Dale’s signature opening… of course he uses his own name instead of mine lol…

In any event, it’s that time again. Preseason for 30DC ‘09 has begun. The first show kicked off yesterday with a bang! I am excited and ready to for this year’s challenge.

For those that do not know…

This site, still ranked #1 for my keywords, is a product of last years 30 Day Challenge. It was a wonderful experience and Ed Dale, Dan Raine and Guru Bob made good on the promise. After about 2 and half years of complete failure online, I made my first dollar.

Well… it was actually my first $48.50 but who was counting…

The funny thing is I didn’t even complete the challenge… technically. Part of the challenge was to create your own product. I have a few but perfectionism has halted their release. I can be a bit critical of myself at times.

On top of that, the law of attraction and abundance is my genre and there are already a great materials on the market. Most of my earnings since completing last year’s challenge have come from this genre, but ALL of my earnings have come largely from principles learned from the 30 Day Challenge.

I hope this doesn’t come off some sort of info-mercial for Ed Dale and Dan Raine. Their reputations really speak for themselves and they don’t need my endorsement.

That said…

You should really consider joining Thirty Day Challenge 2009. You’ll get expert instruction, learn about the hottest new tricks and tools the internet has to offer, the ability to make your fist buck online and…

believe it or not…

It’s free!

Yes Man! Yes

April 12th, 2009

Yesterday I watched Yes Man… the Jim Carey movie. I didn’t see it in the movies… waited for the DVD for some reason.

That’s kinda strange for me because I’m a fan of his. So I’m watching the movie expecting that I know what’s going to happen already. I mean… this is Jim Carey and I knew immediately what they were going to spoof by the title of the movie. They’re making fun of some philosophies that I hold dear… How dare they trivialize the law of attraction and abundance!?

Turns out it’s a good movie. Of Course, Jim Carey delivers but so did the movie. There are a few valuable lessons to be learned. It’s up to you to pluck you pieces of wisdom but here are mine…

I like to consider myself a ‘Yes Man’. I’ve got the screen savers to prove it… lol. And sometimes I say yes so much that I forget what ‘no’ means. I don’t go through the extremes shown in the movie, but sometimes we try too damn hard to be positive. We think that positive thinking will activate and/or amplify the law of attraction. This sends people into what I call the ‘honky dory mindset’.

This is where everything… everything… you do MUST be positive. You have to wake up and be positive about the birds… be positive about the job you don’t like… be positive about the relationship that sucks… just be positive for positivity’s sake!

Well… you take that and shove it up your ass!

Yea… I know what Abraham-Hicks says about contrast and as you can see by the widget on the right… I’m a student of Dr. Robert Anthony. Consider this… would you really know and understand how abundance and the law of attraction works without contrast?

Let me get overly simple here… if everyone was the same height… no one would be tall or short. There is no ebb and flow when everything is one-sided. Seriously… how do you know you are living in abundance with nothing to weigh it against? This may sound strange to some but without negativity, positivity just does not exist. Your own body couldn’t exist without negativity… hello!!!… atoms are made up of electrons which is negative energy current. Wanna know another secret? It is the electrons that bind atoms to make molecules.

The moral of the story… embrace the negativity around you.

I’m not saying you should go out and purposely and look for bad things to happen. What I am saying is that you should not attempt to deny it. Accept it for what it is and then make a decision to change it… if that’s what you want. The good thing about negativity is you don’t have to look for it. It will find its own way to your doorstep. It’s the nature of things.

Trust me… when you encounter a negative situation, the best thing to do is accept for what it is. Don’t try to fool yourself into thinking that because you are so positive these things won’t happen to you, or shouldn’t be happening to you. I mean… you do all the mantras… you meditate everyday… you give until your heart bleeds…

When you accept a negative situation or circumstance for what it is… you now have the power to change it!

You are going to mess up and unfortunate things will happen in your life. For me… these instances and situations serve as avenues to exercise the power of law of attraction. They remind me that this immutable universal law works both ways.  This law is not concerned with what I deem to be positive or negative… only what I focus on.

I stopped trying to be positive years ago… trying is lying after all. I’ve found that it’s much easier and much more gratifying to just…

Be me!

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssss!

You gotta study that SELF!

April 1st, 2009

Just had to take a minute to forgive… and THANK myself…

See… often we get stuck in certain situations or environments and we immediately start pointing outwards… blaming others for what is really a problem within self.

We also can get so honky dory at times that we forget to BE… feel me?

That’s what happened to me. I am currently going through what some might deem a tough situation. The funny thing is on the surface… this shit is tough. It’s difficult not being around the people… person… you love. It’s even more difficult realizing that you are part of the problem.

I forgive you for that Ash-Shaheed…

The beauty in it all is that when you help others… you truly help yourself. People come to me from to time for advice. Mostly, I just listen because often we already know the solution to our problems. My only real advice is always the same… don’t let fear rule you… and I often follow with this anecdote.

Years ago I went on a spiritual retreat with fellow members of my kung fu class… and my Sifu of course. This was the first of many and no one knew what to expect… especially when Chaan Tzu Ismail Sadaat is involved… lol. The very first night he gave us a tour of the camp grounds. As we walked to the kitchen house, we had to pass through some woods.  It was dark… ain’t no street lights in the country! A couple people had flashlights and turned them on…

They got scolded and were immediately ordered to turn them off! This is what he said…

STOP! Do not move! Turn the lights off! Now…

DO NOT FEAR!

Your pupils will dilate and your eyes will adjust to the darkness. You will see just fine.

Whenever someone exhibits a bit of fear about a situation they are in or are unsure as to how things will turn out, I always relay that little story. Recently it was my turn to take my own advice as I found myself “in those woods” again so to speak.

I still have to walk in the dark… but I can see clearly now… and for that…

I thank you so much Ash-Shaheed… you are the man! You always wanted to be a ninja anyway… lol.

The only person that is ever going to save you is yourself… funny thing is…

The only person that you will ever need to be rescued from is yourself…

Do you possess secret powers?

April 1st, 2009

OK, so this is the deal…

Usually I’m not onboard with the “magical mystery tour” kind of stuff. But what this guy has is truly different.

I’m kind of embarrassed to admit this, but I’ve been flexing my mental muscle on this, and guess what?

It WORKS!

Matter of fact, the other day when I had another record day in my business (yeah, even with all the gloom and doom on the news!) a colleague asked me this…

“Do you possess secret powers or something?”

Well, actually…yes.

But the thing is, so do YOU!

And today a guy by the name of Adrian Law can show you exactly how to unleash them. I guess you could say he’s kind of your personal genie or something.

His Law to Success program is going on sale today at 10 a.m. Pacific 1pm EST

And because of the current economic climate, he has SLASHED the price on it by a whopping 75%–AND now he is giving away $1,137 in extra bonuses that beef up these strategies even more.

And ALL of this for only a measly $97.

I’ve gone through the entire package, and believe me, it is incredibly urgent that you get this in your hands.

Be Here At 10 A.M. Pacific or 1pm EST

Adrian is certainly an unlikely success story too.

I mean, it wasn’t that long ago the guy was at such a low point, he actually stole TOILET PAPER from bathrooms to save a few dollars.

THAT is pretty freaking humiliating, all on it’s own.

But while it sounds pretty bizarre and even pathetic, within a few short years of discovering his 8 Keys to success…

He was a MILLIONAIRE!

I don’t say this lightly, so listen up…you simply have to get this.

Today’s the day, and the inside scoop is there are more than 100,000 people who are waiting to jump on it, especially at this price.

But Adrian is limiting the membership, because of all the personal attention you get in the program.

Bottom line? Don’t get left out on this.

After all, I don’t want to hear you’ve been caught with your pants down, stealing toilet paper!

And I sure as heck don’t want to see you become another “casualty of war” in the current economy.

SMART people know, this is the time to make a safe and secure investment in yourself.

That is, if you want real proven strategies that will knock the bejeebers out of fear and give you the power to make as much money as you want.

This one’s a winner, and I highly recommend it.

Hey, remember that Seinfeld episode where Elaine runs out of TP in the restroom? She asks “the lady next door” if she can “spare a square” and the lady refuses. It was hilarious.

But this is no joke. This could make all the difference–both to your business and your personal life. Don’t get shut out, OK?

Get in the door at 10 a.m. Pacific or 1pm EST

The Masters Gathering… Special Offer!

February 14th, 2009

Ok… unless you’ve been under a rock, vacationing in Peru or searching for Atlantis, you’ve no doubt heard about The Masters Gathering.

This earth-shattering launch happened about two weeks ago and it was historic. The line up on this thing is reads like a who’s who of the self-development industry. Just about every star of ‘The Secret’ is in on this and they aren’t holding anything back.

This is like an All-Star team of experts truly fitting of the name The Masters Gathering

OK… that’s it… hypes over! Unfortunately for many, the program SOLD OUT within hours of launching. Honestly, I wasn’t the least bit surprised. We got such a good response from the free videos we put out that I just knew it was coming.

So what’s so special about this ‘gathering of masters’ and why am I so excited?

Well for me, anything that has to do with the Law of Attraction is special and worth taking a look at, but that’s just me. On top of that…

  • There are a total of 24 Masters that gathered for this
  • The subject matter is broken into categories for ease of listening
  • The large gathering allows each master to focus on 1 or 2 aspects of the LOA
  • You can also choose between 12 Areas of Enlightment

There is really just no way that you will come away from this and not benefit.

Yea… but didn’t you say it was SOLD OUT!?

I certainly did… and I wasn’t lying. It is sold out.

You don’t have to worry though. As mentioned earlier, I love just about ALL things law of attraction, but that doesn’t prevent the potential overload. With 24 masters teaching you, it is easy to get overwhelmed.

The good news is they surveyed us and more importantly… they listened!

As result of the survey… and the fast sell out… Harrison Klein, the mastermind behind all this, has released

The Masters Gathering LITE (Click HERE)!

You still get access to the masters and their expertise has been streamlined into 5 categories:

  1. Personal Wealth & Finances
  2. Business & Success
  3. Psychology & Healing
  4. Health & Wellness
  5. Transformation

So that’s it in a nutshell but remember what the title says… Special Offer!

Here’s the deal.

I’m going to give you an additional discount/rebate!

The price tag on The Masters Gathering LITE is $97

I’m going to go ahead and knock off an additional $17 for people who buy from my link!

Just comment on this post after you order. Once all transactions are cleared, I’ll send your rebate through paypal.

It’s like a finger pointing to the moon…

January 29th, 2009

I was inspired to write this post as a result of a recent twitter convo with a new friend, Hemal Radia. Here’s his tweet…

Abundance is not just money, it’s much more than that. If u think of it only as money u limit the ways abundance can get to u

To which I replied…

so true. it’s like a finger pointing to the moon… as bruce lee would say

He asked me to explain so here goes…

When you concentrate on money, you will certainly get it! There is no doubt about that. On the other hand, when you become overly obsessed with money and begin to equate it with abundance, then you are missing the rest of the scenery. You miss the good things people do for you along the way and often miss the good you do yourself. You are too busy worrying about money and getting more of it.

Money IS the finger pointing to the moon. It will surely open many doors for you, but it is only part of the equation. When you concentrate on it, you miss the true beauty of abundance…

Hope that helps Hemal! Here’s Bruce’s famous lesson on the law of attraction expressed through martial arts…

Stop Begging! Start Manifesting

January 26th, 2009

by Brian Wong

Do you remember that first spark of hope you felt when you watched The Secret? I clearly remember the desire that filled my heart, knowing that – Yes, I can make my dreams come trueFINALLY!

But how many of you soon saw that hope dwindle into frustration? How many of you (and be honest now) started muttering things like:

- “It seems to work for other people, but I just can’t get it right.”

- “I’m frustrated that sometimes I can get it to work, but sometimes I can’t. What’s the trick?”

- “Why am I having so much trouble?”

- “I think the universe is against me.”

- “I’m trying very, VERY hard but still nothing is happening!”

Don’t worry, you’re not alone. About 97% of people also couldn’t make the Law of Attraction work for them the first time round. Think about it, just like anything else, you have to practice many times before you see success. A child doesn’t learn to walk without falling over a couple of times, right?

But in practice, everything is easier said and done. When you’re frustrated, it’s hard to stay positive. And it’s especially harder to stay positive when the evidence all around you is screams negativity like the unstable economy or senseless acts of violence such as those recently seen in Mumbai.

And do you know what happens when you fail to stay positive? That’s right – you start attracting negative things in to your life.

So how can you make the Law of Attraction work for you – without getting frustrated? How do those who successfully implement the Law of Attraction do it with such confidence and finesse?

Well, here’s three quick tips so you will never feel frustrated or tired of begging from the universe, because you know how to start manifesting like a pro.

1. Allow Yourself To Receive

Just like a lost child who approaches a police officer and asks, “Excuse me Sir, can you tell me how to go to the post office? Can you? Can you? Can you? Can you? Can you?” Well, if the child goes on and on asking, the police officer can’t even give an answer, right?

Well, it’s the same thing with your mind. If the only thing your mind is doing is transmit, transmit, transmit, the universe — which is trying to respond — can’t give you a single thing because you’re not allowing yourself to receive!

So, have the confidence in yourself and stop exhausting yourself by running around person to person begging for riches, and then wondering why nobody is dropping a penny in your cup (Hint: It’s because you’re running away too fast for them before they can even reach for their wallets).

Just think of your desires and leave it out there, go away, and trust that your cup will be filled with gold coins (or whatever it is you asked for) when the time is right.

2. Be Patient With Yourself

Receiving takes time.

Sadly, many people give up just a couple of steps before the finish line because they’ve decided that if it’s not working by now, it’s never going to work at all. Worse still are those who throw in more and more energy because they think that with more resources, the results will come faster.

This is like expecting 9 mothers to conceive and deliver a baby in 1 month. You also can’t bake cookies in half the time by doubling the temperature. You’ll incinerate those cookies to ashes!

In simple terms: Everything in this world has a natural development time, and this fact will not change no matter what resources you throw at it.

So relax and be patient. Remember that you too, as part of the universe, are also governed by the laws of the universe, and you cannot change the natural development time.

If you remember this, you will less likely work yourself up into frustration, or worse, push yourself into a downward spiral of negativity.

3. Support and Educate Yourself

Like the child who is learning how to walk, you need support. You also need to guidance on how to do it, and also the role models to look up to.

Many people give up because they think that “The Secret” is the “be all and end all” solution. Well, it’s NOT. “The Secret” is just a small portion. It was never intended, and has never been, the whole answer.

Coming to the conclusion that the Law of Attraction doesn’t work when all you ever did to educate yourself was watch “The Secret” 19 times (without looking at changing the habits of other areas of your life) is like coming to the conclusion that exercising is not an effective way to lose weight because all you did is run on the treadmill for 2 hours a day (but you’re still stuffing yourself with fried foods and cheesecakes).

So seek and be hungry for new knowledge. Also, make an effort to be amongst people or communities where you can support each other, learn from each other and also share new knowledge that you have found.

While the Law of Attraction is not an overnight delivery service, it will indeed deliver, if you do your part too!

Learn How To Breakdance

January 21st, 2009

I know what you’re thinking. I thought this blog was about abundance and the law of attraction. What is this guy doing with a post on breakdance?

Well… honestly…

I was feeling a little preachy and sometimes I can be a little too authoritative. This certainly breaks the monotony for me. Too often, we fall into the mode of theorizing and conceptualizing so much that we forget to enjoy the things we love… and I love breakdancing!

I don’t actively practice anymore, so don’t look for me on America’s Best Dance Crew, but I still the love the art and its expression. Also, seeing the creativity from these dancers is fuel to my own fire. Sometimes I get so siked after seeing a breakdance video on YouTube that I wind up writing for an hour, or some million dollar marketing idea will pop in my head. Which brings me to this awesome site I found.

Click2Dance.com

The site itself is a beauty to look at, although the red text does get a little annoying. What I was, and am, most impressed by with this site is the videos. Don’t ask me why. I just love seeing this stuff in action! I can still see the traditional moves that are standard in breakdancing, but you can also see how these guys take it up a notch. Windmills, back spins and pop locking was my thing coming up. Just give me a piece of tile on the basketball court and it was on! Still, I wouldn’t attempt half of the things this new generation performs. I mean, the level of creativity and bravado is just off the meter. You can’t choreograph some of this stuff.

What I like the most about the site though is the instruction. That’s right… INSTRUCTION. I was floored, pun intended, by the videos. When I say these brothers are bad… “not bad meaning bad but bad meaning good”… I mean they are B-A-D jack, lol! And, on top of that, they actually teach you this stuff! So, after they make your eyes pop out of your head, you will have to put them back in so you can learn how to breakdance like them. Now, you know I cleared some space and got down with the get down!

Be warned… your children will laugh at you! I called myself ‘punishing’ the kids for laughing at me by making follow along. Now they laugh at me because I can’t keep up with them. Talk about a win, win situation!

I get to do some exercise and spend some quality time with my children. The get the same quality time and, more often than not, a good chance to laugh and make fun of dad… gotta love ‘em!

Enjoy Your Life For A Change

November 9th, 2008

Change Your Point of View

“Two men look out through the same bars: One sees the mud, and one sees the stars.”- Frederick Langbridge, A Cluster of Quiet Thoughts

If you’ve placed second in the 100m dash at the Olympics, will you jump for joy and push for better results the next time or will you be discouraged and find an excuse not to compete in the next major track and field event?

In life, you are always filled with choices. You may opt to have a pessimist’s view and live a self-defeated life or you may decide to take the optimist’s route and live a challenging, fulfilling life.

So why nurture an optimist’s point of view? And why now?

Well, optimism has been linked to positive mood and good morale; to academic, athletic, military, occupational and political success; to popularity; to good health and even to long life and freedom from trauma.

On the other hand, the rates of depression and pessimism have never been higher. It affects middle-aged adults the same way it hits younger people. The mean age of onset has gone from 30 to 15. It is no longer a middle-aged housewife’s disorder but also a teen-ager’s disorder’ as well.

Here’s how optimists are in action and researches that back up why it really pays to be an optimist:

Optimists expect the best

The defining characteristic of pessimists is that they tend to believe bad events, which will last a long time and undermine everything they do, are their own fault.

Optimists are confronted with the same hard knocks of this world. What differs is the way they explain their misfortune—it’s the opposite way. They tend to believe defeat is just a temporary setback, that its causes are confined to this one case.

Optimists focus on and plan for the ‘problem’ at hand. They use ‘positive reinterpretation.’ In other words, they most likely reinterpret a negative experience in a way that helps them learn and grow. Such people are unfazed by bad situations, they perceive it is a challenge and work harder.

They won’t say “things will never get better,” “If I failed once, it will happen again” and “If I experience misfortune in one part of my life, then it will happen in my whole life.”

Positive expectancies of optimists also predict better reactions during transitions to new environments, sudden tragedies and unlikely turn of events. If they fall, they will stand up. They see opportunities instead of obstacles.

People respond positively to optimists

Optimists are proactive and less dependent on others for their happiness. They find no need to control or manipulate people. They usually draw people towards them. Their optimistic view of the world can be contagious and influence those they are with.

Optimism seems a socially desirable trait in all communities. Those who share optimism are generally accepted while those who spread gloom, panic and hysteria are treated unfavorably.

In life, these people often win elections; get voted most congenial and sought for advice.

When the going gets tough, optimists get tougher!

Optimists typically maintain higher levels of subjective well-being during times of stress than do people who are less optimistic. In contrast, pessimists are likely to react to stressful events by denying that they exist or by avoiding dealing with problems. Pessimists are more likely to quit trying when difficulties arise.

They persevere. They just don’t give up easily, they are also known for their patience. Inching their way a step closer to that goal or elusive dream.

Optimists are healthier and live longer

Medical research has justified that simple pleasures and a positive outlook can cause a measurable increase in the body’s ability to fight disease.

Optimists’ health is unusually good. They age well, much freer than most people from the usual physical ills of middle age. And they get to outlive those prone to negative thoughts.

So why not be an optimist today? And think positively towards a more fulfilled life.

Why not look forward to success in all your endeavors? Why not be resilient? Like everybody else you are bound to hit lows sometimes but don’t just stay there. Carry yourself out of the mud and improve your chances of getting back on the right track. And why not inspire others to remove their dark-colored glasses and see life in the bright side?

I am an INTJ

November 3rd, 2008

So… I get a stumble message from a friend doing a traffic experiment. His theory is that you will enjoy blogs by people who share your personality type.

As you can see from the title, it’s based on Jung’s Typology Test. It’s interestingly accurate. I enjoyed reading the descriptions for personality type, quite revealing to say the least.

You can check out the experiment here. Give it a go! I actually did enjoy the blogs in my personality type. I may even link back to a couple of them.

I’m a Rational Mastermind (INTJ), and I was surprised at how many people of note share this personality type. Alan Greenspan, Ben Bernanke, Dwight D. Eisenhower, General Ulysses S. Grant, Frideriche Nietsche, Niels Bohr, Peter the Great, Stephen Hawking, John Maynard Keynes, Lise Meitner”, Ayn Rand and Sir Isaac Newton all share the same personality type. Don’t ask me why… but knowing this kind of stuff is gratifying to me, lol.
